Treasure Hunt Party Planning Checklist
A little preparation makes a treasure hunt party easier to run. Choose a theme, define a safe play area and decide whether guests will solve clues together or in small teams.
Before the party: personalize an invitation, write or edit the clues, prepare a small reward and check the route. Print the cards and keep the parent guide separate from the players’ pages.
On the day: hide the next card at the answer to each clue, set the final reward in place and give the first card to the players. Keep a few hints nearby and let everyone take a turn.
Choose accessible hiding places away from roads, water, appliances and fragile objects. A grown-up should supervise. If you plan to play outdoors, prepare an indoor alternative for bad weather.
