Printable Treasure Hunt Setup Checklist

A quick check before play helps turn a stack of cards into a smooth adventure. Choose a theme and confirm that the language and number of clues suit your players. Print the invitation and cards, cut along the guides and keep the parent guide separate. Give card 1 to the children. Hide card 2 at the answer to card 1, card 3 at the answer to card 2, and continue until the last clue points to your reward. Check that every spot is reachable, that the clue text matches its destination and that the route stays away from hazards. Prepare hints and an alternative location in case your original spot is unavailable. Keep the players together, supervise the game and collect the cards afterwards. A certificate can mark the finish.
